You now take the best keywords you’ve found in the keyword research and with two clicks you can analyze the top ten sites for that keyword.
The software gives you a fantastic table of important ranking factors. It will tell you for each site in the top 10, if it has the keyword in the title, the H1 tags, and the meta description. But that’s not all. You get the age of the site, PR of the page, pr of the site, links to the site and total links to the page. Everything you need to work out if you can rank for this keyword.
Don’t know what the hell any of this means? No problem.
If you’re new to search engine optimization Market Samurai actually color codes each part of the results for you. Red is high competition, amber is medium and green is low. Simple if you see lots of red ditch that keyword but if you see plenty of green go for it!
It’s also worth mentioning that Market Samurai also has some of the best beginners SEO videos out there and they are free.
Market Samurai Rank Tracker Module
This module is addictive. It tracks the rankings of your sites in all three major search engines. You add the sites and keywords you want to track and the software quickly returns the results. It tells you where you rank, the PR of the page and the number of backlinks the page has.
Market Samurai also keeps all the historical data so you can pull up a graph of your search engine position or number of backlinks over a period of time. The only problem with the rank tracker is that it’s addictive!
